Shizuishan hydrological station is located at the junction of Ningxia and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions in the main stream of the Yellow River. It is a national basic hydrological station and an important hydrological station, a national key flood reporting station, an important control station and provincial boundary section in the main stream of the Yellow River, as well as a control section for unified water regulation of the Yellow River and a key monitoring section for water resources protection. Toudaoguai hydrological station is located in madihao village, Zhongtan Township, Tuoketuo County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with geographical coordinates of 111 ° 04 'e and 40 ° 16' n. The observation items include water level, flow, sediment concentration, large section, water temperature, ice condition, etc. This data set is the daily flow observation data of Shizuishan and Toudaoguai stations during the ice flood period from 1951 to 2018. The water storage increment of this section of the trough is calculated through statistical analysis. This data set contains one excel file with two columns, one column is the year, and the other column is the annual tank storage increment.

The data of this data set are all the data of the hydrological station observation data after statistical analysis and calculation. The daily flow of the hydrological station is observed in strict accordance with the requirements of the national hydrological station observation specifications. The flow measurement equipment mainly includes the navigation phased array ADCP, SSZ ultrasonic sounder, handheld GPS flat-panel locator, intelligent flow recorder, flow meter, current meter, sounding rod, etc. The daily flow data of source data comes from the hydrological Yearbook published every year and is purchased from the Hydrological Bureau of the Yellow River Water Resources Commission.
The increment of water storage in the channel is the amount of water retained in the river during the ice flood season due to the influence of flow ice and ice cover. The calculation method: take the first closure date of Ningmeng river section to the last opening date as the calculation period, take the daily flow of Shizuishan station (the propagation time of 10 days after the error) minus the daily flow of the corresponding Toudaoguai hydrological station, convert it into water volume, then subtract the interval diversion and reservoir storage variables in the corresponding river section, and take the maximum value after accumulation, that is, the actual maximum tank storage increment in the river.
The daily flow data is measured by the professionals of the hydrological station and officially published after verification and compilation. The calculation of tank storage increment is calculated by professional technicians and adopted after verification and review.
