Mcd12q1 land cover data set contains 11 main land cover types, including 7 natural vegetation types, 3 land development and mosaic land types and 1 non vegetation land type according to the international geosphere biosphere program (IGBP). IGBP's global vegetation classification scheme has the most abundant data types, so the data of the first dataset classification scheme (lc_type1) is adopted. The data type is an 8-bit unsigned integer, and the valid value range is 1-17255. It is a filling value.
Using MRT tool and python language code, batch splicing, projection conversion, cutting and other processing are carried out to generate mcd12q1 land use type data of Jinghe River Basin from 2001 to 2020. The spatial resolution of this data set is 500 meters and the temporal resolution is years

The data set is mcd12q1 data, involving framing images, with grid h26v05 and spatial resolution of 500m, synthesized annually.
Run the MRT tool to convert the data format from HDF format to TIFF format, and output the projection as Albers projection with a spatial resolution of 500 meters;
Using ArcGIS software, the boundary of the Jinghe River Basin was used as a mask to extract MCD12Q1 data;
Output MODIS MCD12Q1 data in TIFF format for the Jinghe River Basin.
The data quality of this dataset is consistent with that of mcd12q1.
