On September 5, 2022, at 12:52 a.m., a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province (latitude 29.59°N, longitude 102.08°E) at a depth of 16 km. The pre-earthquake (20220901) and post-earthquake (20220906) HMS-1 image data are provided according to the extent of the earthquake.

Haisi-1 satellite is the maiden star of TY-MINISAR, the first generation of light and small SAR remote sensing satellite being developed by TIISAR.

It took one year to complete the development of “Haisi No. 1”, which is characterized by its light weight, small size, low cost and high resolution. The SAR system, with an imaging resolution of 1 meter, can carry out all-weather, all-day imaging observation of land, sea and coast, providing services for China's marine environment, disaster monitoring and land use.
